Meiya is a 100% fully owned Australian Company. Meiya is an Australian brand established by the founder, Mr C Lai, who started the range hood business in 1988.

 

Meiya is the first Australian brand established to serve the needs of the Asian cooking market, specifically to address oily fumes and odor issues from stir-fry or deep-fry. Our “Slanted” venting system and the “Bowl” filter system have resolved the fumes issue from our most demanding customers.

Over time, we have expanded to serve the needs of all Australians who cook with oil and spice, and people who are looking for a range hood that not only provide strong suction, but are also easy to clean and maintain.

 

Meiya started in a small garage in Ashfield back in 1988, and now our 750m2 Showroom/Warehouse is situated in Strathfield NSW. We currently have a branch office in Melbourne VIC, and distributors in other states of Australia.

Our current range of products includes range hoods, gas cooktops and woks, and we are always introducing now models and products to meet the needs of our customers.
